How We Started

Before founding Cascadia Motivation, our ownership group was involved in the manufacturing and distribution industry, where they used various incentives for their customers and employees.

We learned first-hand the value of incentive-based programs in building business relationships and motivating people. We began to ask ourselves: If this worked for us, wouldn’t it work for other companies? Could we help them use our methods to get the results we did?

In 1984, we began to answer those questions by founding Cascadia Motivation (then called Carlson Tours and Incentive Travel Ltd.). Since then, we have continuously innovated and grown, becoming a trusted leader within our industry.

Looking Ahead

Global travel will look different in the years ahead, which poses challenges for the travel industry. However, over the past three decades of delivering complex travel programs and events, Cascadia Motivation has developed many problem-solving and creative-thinking skills to serve us as we move forward.

Randy has a solid global perspective on the industry and strong relationships worldwide. He brings his experience as a past president of the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (SITE) Canada and a former member of SITE’s World Board of Directors. Randy is involved in Cascadia’s day-to-day activities and remains personally committed to building the organization.

Dany Caicco

Dany embarked on his professional journey more than three decades ago, collaborating with esteemed establishments worldwide, orchestrating top-tier events. He earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and the esteemed Global Certification in Meeting Management (CMM), the pinnacle of the industry's professional recognition. Alongside his passion for diverse sports, such as competing in the National Horse Show circuit, Dany thrives on forging connections with new individuals and crafting unforgettable, flawless events destined to be remembered through the ages!

Since 2002, Karin has been excelling in various roles throughout the company and travelling the globe.
