Ancient Greece Themed Party in Athens
We’re always looking to increase the wow factor when we put on events. When working abroad, we collaborate with trusted partners who share our commitment to excellence, just as our clients rely on us because we share their values and vision. Our knowledge and connections bring truly exceptional events to life, like the exclusive evening we designed and delivered in Athens in October 2019.
We began planning this large-scale celebration 24 months out. We decided on a spectacular evening which would bring Greek culture alive, connecting people to place, to each other – and to the brand. Our 1,200 participants were treated to a red-carpet entrance and cocktail party, an exquisite meal, and over 50 entertainers putting on 10 phenomenal performances that had everyone buzzing with excitement.
The Thunderdome - Sydney, Australia
We love working with clients who challenge us to create truly original event experiences for them. For a group of 1,100 travelling to Sydney, we designed a lavish evening themed around one of Australia’s most iconic movies, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. Elaborate décor and characters from the movie, spectacular performances, pyrotechnics, other special effects, and outstanding food and drink made for an unforgettable night for all participants.
British Invasion Party
In the summer of 2015, we planned a spectacular ’60s-themed event for 800 participants at London’s legendary Alexandra Palace, built in 1863, which has hosted the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, the Who, Queen and many more. We added to the building’s on-point grungy atmosphere with décor that transformed the place into a vibrant microcosm of the swinging ’60s, complete with British pageantry and iconic symbols.
Our partygoers had received plenty of advance notice about the party’s theme before leaving Canada, and arrived fully decked out in miniskirts, Beatles suits, Twiggy eyelashes, go-go boots and more.
After cocktails and a fab meal, participants were treated to exclusive, intimate performances by The Stellas, Lennon and Maisy, and the Zac Brown Band.
Greased Lightning Party in Athens
One of the benefits of a large experiential event is that it provides numerous touchpoints during the leadup and afterwards. Promoting the event – which most often is part of a meeting or incentive travel program – builds excitement among the participants about their upcoming trip.
We organized a Grease-inspired ’50s-themed party for a group of 1,100 participants. Because this was a costume party during a travel program, attendees received timely emails during the year preceding the trip reminding them to pack a great costume, and about how much fun the event would be.
Each small reminder helped to build an emotional connection to the company’s brand, and when the evening finally came, we delivered a rocking party, with décor that made people feel like they were just stepping into the malt shop, along with an open bar, tons of great food, and a live band.
